Ebru is a traditional Turkish art going back to 15th century.

It is originated in the city of Bukhara in Uzbekistan.

Ebru was known as "Turkish marbled paper" in Europe.

Hatib style is called so in honour of the marbler Hatib Mehmet Efendi.              (hatib; preacher)

The one of the masters of Ebru, Necmeddin Okyay formed floral designs.

Christopher Weiman and Mustafa Duzgunman are the best marblers of  last decades.
